Join us for Sage Canyon’s walkin’ and rockin’ annual event!

International Walk to School Day is a worldwide event organized to promote physical activity, safe walking skills, and concern for the environment as well as reduction of gas consumption, traffic, and pollution near schools.

Join Us For This Walkin’ and Rockin’ Annual Event

• Meet your friends and neighbors at one of six designated starting locations. Each group will be escorted by adult volunteers holding colorful flags.
• All walking groups will congregate at school at 7:30 a.m. for a bagel and fruit breakfast hosted by the Sage Canyon Dad’s Club and PTA.
• Rock out to musical entertainment — raffle & contest prizes will be awarded
• Remember to wear sneakers and a jacket.

Designated Starting Locations:

1. Derrydown @ 7:05 a.m.
2. Gazebo at top of Carmel Country Rd. @ 7:15 a.m.**
3. Carmel Mountain Rd. & Trotter Rd. @ 7:20 a.m.
4. Amberglades at Harvest Run @ 7:20 a.m.
5. Gaylemont at Quaker Hill @ 7:20 a.m.
6. Whispering Hills @ 7:25 a.m.

** For families not within walking distance of Sage Canyon: Please drive to location #2 (the gazebo) and begin walking from there @ 7:15 a.m. All participants meet at school @ 7:30 a.m.
